Ingredients of 🌶🍛Amratsari Chole🍛🌶

  1. Prepare 2 of onion medium chopped.
  2. You need to prepare 2 of tomato medium (make puree).
  3. You need to prepare 2 of green chillies chopped (to taste).
  4. Prepare 1 tbsp of garlic ginger paste.
  5. Prepare 2 of bay leaves.
  6. You need to prepare 2 cups of White chickpeas (soaked overnight).
  7. Prepare 2 of tea bags.
  8. Prepare 1 tbsp of oil.
  9. Prepare 2 tbsp of ghee.
  10. Prepare to taste of Salt.
  11. Prepare 1/2 tsp of cumin powder.
  12. You need to prepare 2 tsp of red chili powder.
  13. Prepare 1 tsp of coriander powder.
  14. Prepare 1/4 tsp of turmeric powder.
  15. Prepare 2 tsp of anardana (pomegranate) powder.
  16. You need to prepare 1 tsp of amchur (mango) powder.
  17. Prepare 1 tbsp of garam masala.
  18. You need to prepare of Water as required.
  19. You need to prepare of Fresh coriander leaves, finely chopped.

🌶🍛Amratsari Chole🍛🌶 instructions

  1. In a pan add dry chickpeas 2 cups boiled with 2 tea bags and water & salt and cook it for 45 minutes or untill fully cooked. In a pan add oil, ghee, bay leaves, onion, ginger garlic paste, green chillies and mix it well..
  2. Add tomato puree and add the dry masalas - turmeric powder, amchur powder, cumin powder, red chili powder, coriander powder, garam masala, salt to taste & anardana powder..
  3. Add the chickpeas to the masala and water and cook it for 8-10 minutes. Mash few of the chickpeas for consitency garnish with fresh coriander leaves. Amritsari Chole is ready to be served!.
  4. #Tip: you can also used canned white chickpeas in this recipe.
